Golden Ripples Tea Set

Our Golden Ripples Tea Set is made from shadow-green porcelain, fired at Jingdezhen: a teapot with two cups and saucers. The pot carries the twin koi in a red scalloped cartouche, with a band of blue ribbons, green tendrils and florettes across the shoulder, a gold-tipped spout and a red-and-gold knob. Each cup is painted inside the rim with koi and florettes, set on a saucer ringed with ribbons and florettes and edged in gold. From our SHANGHAI TANG Golden Ripples Collection: our twin-fish and aquatic-flora design, hand-painted onto shadow-green porcelain and carrying the old wish for abundance year after year.
