Golden Ripples Plate

Our Golden Ripples Plate is made from shadow-green porcelain, fired at Jingdezhen, where the glaze shows a faint green cast against the light. The dinner plate carries a continuous border of paired red koi swimming through blue ribbons and turquoise florettes, with a knotted medallion at its centre; the side plate answers with a facing pair of fish at the middle. Both are finished with a fine gold edge above green and red bands, and a gold SHANGHAI TANG backstamp beneath.
