One of Shanghai Tang's most iconic styles, a new version of the classic five-button Tang jacket crafted from deluxe velvet with a plush touch. Beautiful details are abound – the signature frog buttons are made from glossy silk, and the silk jacquard lining showcases a contemporary pattern for the coming Year of the Rabbit from the series "Happy Rabbit in Spring". Flip the cuffs for a beautiful visual effect of sharp colour contrast between the velvet and the lining.
For the "Happy Rabbit in Spring" pattern, Shanghai Tang has taken inspiration from the exterior and interior of 20th-century Shanghai famous landmarks, and combined this with the "Year of the Rabbit". The design shows rabbits jumping between walls and buildings - a beautifully composed scene of organic lines and geometric figures, giving a modern and contemporary feeling.
