Shanghai Tang celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2019 with two delightfully playful mooncake sets. Marking the brand’s first ever collaboration with China Tang restaurant, the “Shanghai Tang × China Tang Silver Limited Edition Mooncake Set” is designed with silver packaging to commemorate Shanghai Tang’s Silver Jubilee. Also available is the “Shanghai Tang Midnight Blue Luxury Mooncake Set”.

Both sets feature an intricate paper artwork night scene iconic of Mid-Autumn Festival – Tiangong (Chinese Heavenly Palace), the legendary Chinese Goddess of the Moon, Chang’e, and a bright moon in the form of Shanghai Tang’s signature motif. The poetic paperscape automatically lights up when the box is opened, turning it into a radiant decoration for every home. The multifunctional box can be reused after the festive season for holding jewellery or bric-à-brac.

Designed with textured silver packaging. The cutwork scene is crafted from pearly white paper with gold and embossed accents. It includes 6 China Tang White Lotus Seed Puree Mooncakes with Single Egg Yolk, a classic favourite that offers a true taste of tradition. It uses the finest ingredients, including Hunan white lotus seeds, salted egg yolk, pure peanut oil and refined syrup.

Comes in a glittering textured box reminiscent of a starry night sky. A scene of the Tiangong and Chang’e is sculpted in jet black paper with embossed and cutwork effects. This edition includes 6 Mini Egg Custard Mooncakes with a silky soft custard filling wrapped in a delicate crumbly shell.
