The qipao, as one of the signature Shanghai Tang's item, is the perfect piece of clothing to highlight the feminine curves in the best way. This qipao has been created using an improved three-dimensional cut to best compliment the female body shape - the particular length of the sleeves is combined with the slightly squared shoulders to adjust the upper body proportions; the cutting along the waist has been designed to accentuate and slim down the waistline. The small Chinese-style stand-up collar, along with the fake placket design, and the orchid decoration on the neckline, add elegance and delicacy to the overall look.
The fabric used is a special jacquard silk-wool blend which makes this qipao perfect to be used for a special occasion, but thanks to its modest and demure style, it can be easily worn as an everyday dress as well.
