    MATTERS YOU SUBMIT TO SHANGHAI TANG
     
    Shanghai Tang welcomes your comments regarding Shanghai Tang products and services, including Shanghai Tang's online services. Shanghai Tang's policy does not allow it to accept or consider creative ideas, suggestions, or materials other than those it has specifically requested. The intent of this policy is to avoid possible future misunderstandings when projects developed by Shanghai Tang's professional staff might seem to others to be similar to their own creative work. Accordingly, we must request that you do not send us any original creative materials such as clothing, accessory or interior decoration designs or ideas or original artwork. While we value your feedback on our services and products, we request that you be specific in your comments on those services and products, and not submit any creative ideas, suggestions, or materials.
     
    If at our request you send certain specific submissions (e.g., ideas, drawing, photograph or contests) or, despite our request that you not send us any other creative materials, you send us creative suggestions, ideas, notes, drawings, concepts, or other information (collectively, the "Submissions"), the Submissions shall be deemed, and shall remain, the property of Shanghai Tang. None of the Submissions shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of Shanghai Tang, and Shanghai Tang shall not be liable for any use or disclosure of any Submissions.
     
    Without limitation of the foregoing, Shanghai Tang shall exclusively own all now known or hereafter existing rights to the Submissions of every kind and nature and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to the provider of the Submissions.
     
    You shall not upload to, distribute through, or otherwise publish through shanghaitang.com any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise give rise to liability or violates any law.
     
    It is our policy to respect the privacy of all guests.     PRODUCT INFORMATION
     
    Most Shanghai Tang products displayed at the Site are available in select Shanghai Tang stores in the Hong Kong and select foreign markets while supplies last. In some cases, merchandise displayed for sale at the Site may not be available in Shanghai Tang stores. The prices displayed at the Site are quoted in US Dollars and are valid and effective only on our Site.
     
    COLORS OF OUR PRODUCTS
     
    While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the Site, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor. We cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

    PRIVACY
     
    Data about the activity of visitors to this site is automatically provided to Shanghai Tang when you sign on. We use it for internal review in aggregate and non-personally-identifiable form. E-mail addresses and other personally identifying data about you is known to Shanghai Tang only when voluntarily submitted or posted to us. Shanghai Tang uses personally identifying data provided by visitors to tell you about carefully screened products which we feel may be of interest to you, and we may also share this information with other interested parties from whom we think you may want to receive information about merchandise for your own use or for gift giving.
     
    In addition, we sometimes use e-mail addresses and other personally identifying information to contact visitors who communicate with Shanghai Tang.     THE LAW THAT GOVERNS THE USE OF THIS WEB SITE

This is the entire Agreement between us relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except as expressly provided herein.
